I live in Hillsboro, Oregon, a suburb of Portland, and since moving here in 2017 I have fallen in love with all things Pacific Northwest. The forests, the ocean beaches, the climate, the people, the food and wine! When I’m not painting or exploring the local area, I’m usually lost in a book. My favorite books to read are romance and historical nonfiction.

 Vibrant colors inspire and energize me, and I use them in most of my artwork, which includes abstract art, illustration, and typography. A unique characteristic of some of my artwork is the combination of precise geometric layouts with the unpredictability of watercolor textures. These pieces allow me to use both my creative and logical sides. As a former librarian who finds a surprising amount of joy in organization, I can’t help but let some of that come through in my art!

 My designs are available as art prints and as surface patterns on many different products through print-on-demand sites. My artwork is available to license, and I welcome new commissions and collaboration ideas!
